The INV Project

Four organizations from three countries have cooperated in the realization of the INV project, from October 2012 until January 2015.

The 36 months long developmental work can be divided into distinct phases, from scoping and planning through the creation of the theoretical and practicalpedagogical model and the training itinerary to the testing of the INV model and its tools. The testing made it possible to modify and upgrade some of the tools, as well as to identify the service-specific variables. As the two-phases, testing was the first full-size application of the model at the same time, the validation of the model and the tools could be achieved.

In addition to the developmental work, the consortium emphasized dissemination and exploitation of the new model and its tools, offering a useful support instrument for professionals working in social services for intellectually disabled persons.
